Fort Pierre Firemans Ball

Why do we have a firemans ball dance? Its a way our department can do an annual fundraiser that can help us raise funds to help pay for various things. As with any volunteer fire department, donations during fundraisers helps us run for the year. So when all the local volunteer fire departments have fundraisers such as dances; pancake feeds; raffles, etc, make sure to help support them as much as possible.

Remember, volunteer means the members do not receive any pay to respond to fire calls or training...they leave work & time with family to help those in need...they donate hundreds of hours per year to train & fight fires for the community. All we ask is that the community help us by donating to our fundraiser & buy raffle tickets as well. Just know that we appreciate your support.
