Fort Pierre Community Christmas Celebration

Please join us in Fort Pierre on Friday, November 27, 2009 for the Fort Pierre Community Christmas Celebration! Free hot cider, coffee and cookies! Chili and cornbread feed for only $4 per person, starting at 8:00pm at the Chuckwagon Cafe. Starting at 7:30pm their will be a parade through Fort Pierre on Deadwood Avenue and around the Christmas tree on Main Avenue. The dedication of the Christmas tree by Larry and Mary Giddings will begin at 8:00pm. Special thanks and acknowledgements go out to: Larry and Mary Giddings, donation of the tree. River Cities Transit, supplied the labor for movement and setup of the tree. Fort Pierre Development Corporation, financial donations and organization of events. City of Fort Pierre, provided assistance and equipment in moving and setup of the tree. Darby Nutter, Arlen Keyers and Beth King, organizing the parade of wagons.
