Fort Bennett to Fort Pierre Evening Events
The Trail Ride will rest at Donelan Ranch, located on Fort Bennett Road for the evening of August 10th. Starting at 5:00pm there will be a cash dinner, or "burnt offerings". At 6:00pm the Prairie Chautauqua begins. Frank Myers will speak about the area geography and people, followed by Vicki Tibbs-Husted who will speak about the Tibbs family. Ed Duffy will speak about Fort Bennett 75 years ago. Phyliss Fravel will speak about Mission Ridge and Orton. Trask & Timmons will conclude with live music.
