CASAblanca
CASAblanca, the major annual fundraiser for CIVIC CASA, will take place Saturday, March 28 at the Ramkota RiverCentre in Pierre.
The CASAblanca event includes a three-course dinner, live entertainment by Jazz Portraits, gaming at Rick's Cafe, auctions and raffles. The ambience for the evening will based on the theme of the 1942 movie classic "Casablanca" starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. Guests are invited and encouraged to attend in 1940's attire.
As in previous years, CASAblanca will have adult-supervised childcare onsite during the event. The childcare will be available from 5:30-10:30pm for a cost of $10 per child and will include pizza, snacks, movie in the amphitheatre, and other activities.
CASAblanca tickets will be available starting February 16 from Prairie Pages Book Seller at 321 S. Pierre Street and the CIVIC CASA office at 204 E. Missouri Avenue, as well as online at www.bpro.com/casablanca the cost is $40 per ticket or a table of eight for $260.
