David Wolff will tell about early Deadwood and the role James K.P. Miller played in the town's redevelopment. Miller arrived in Deadwood soon after its founding in 1876 and quickly became one of its leading businessmen. Miller is a retired history professor and the author of "The Savior of Deadwood: James K.P. Miller on the Gold Frontier." The book is sold at the Heritage Store at the Cultural Heritage Center.
