125th Anniversary Celebration
This summer marks Pierre's 125 year Anniversary. To commermorate the occasion, the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing a community celebration beginning on Wednesday, June 18. Activities will continue through the weekend with the annual Oahe Days Art Festival. Among the many activities, we'll kick off the celebration on June 18 with the Annual Dakota Duck Derby, Capital City Band, opening ceremonies, a lighted boat parade and fireworks set to music all at Steamboat Park.
