He is not only technically proficient\, he is also an exceptional communicator whose audiences praise his ability to combine information\, humor\, metaphor\, analogy and storytelling into an informative whole that does not just present the information\, but really communicates it in a memorable fashion.\n\nThe movie "Music Within" is a true story of Richard Pimentel\, a brilliant public speaker with a troubled past\, who returns from  Vietnam severely hearing impaired and finds a new purpose in his landmark efforts on behalf of Americans with disabilities.\n\n\n\nSecretary Larry Zimmerman will be providing a keynote presentation for the noon luncheon. Zimmerman became the first Secretary of the SD Department of Veteran Affairs in January of 2013. As the new secretary\, he serves over seventy thousand veterans within the borders of South Dakota. His vision and mission statement for the new department is "Voices for Veterans"\n\n\n\nCongress designates each October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The event promotes the benefits of a diverse workforce which includes veterans with disabilities who represent a highly skilled talent pool.
