SUMMARY:Short Grass Student Art Showcase - Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:The Short Grass Arts Council is pleased to bring to our community a special display of student artwork from schools in the Central South Dakota area. This exhibit will also feature members of the T.F Riggs National Art Honor Society Chapter who have created works of art celebrating "Unsung Heroes" as part of the LMC ARTEFFECT Unsung Heroes Art Competition under the guidance of art teacher Jill Kokesh who has been selected as an ARTEFFECT Ambassador this year. This will be a 10-day exhibit at the Waterfront Gallery in Pierre with an open house reception on Thursday\, May 16 from 4pm to 7pm. The 10-day exhibit will end Sunday May 26.
