DESCRIPTION:The Short Grass Arts Council invites you to join South Dakota Poet Laureate Bruce Roseland and other poets from the South Dakota State Poetry Society as they visit the Waterfront Gallery in Pierre\, SD\, to read selections and to host open mics\, as part of their Poetry on the Road tour across South Dakota. This tour is made possible by support from the South Dakota Humanities Council. Event is FREE. ALL are welcome\, refreshments provided! DOORS OPEN AT 6:30 PROGRAM COMMENCES AT 7:00 FOLLOWED BY OPEN MIC. Attendees are encouraged to sign up to read their own original poetry.
