SUMMARY:Oahe Winter Festival 2024
DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Oahe Winter Festival will be the inaugural event for what we hope will become a long-lived holiday tradition in the Pierre/Fort Pierre area. The Parade of Lights will kick off the weekend on Friday\, December 6th. Saturday will then be filled with festivities around the community\, as well as live entertainment\, a scavenger hunt\, activities\, and vendors in the Historic Downtown Area. \n\n	Stop in to Lee Real Estate and The American Legion Post 8 to register for a huge door prize\, and see our amazing vendors! Activities for the kids and a photo back drop at Lee Real Estate. Northridge Plaza: Overflow Fine Art/Retail Vendors (1615 North Harrison Avenue)\n	Photos with Santa and his sleigh! (Must bring your own camera/phone) Time TBD\n	YMCA Obstacle Course - More details to come. Weather permitting\, will be held 2nd block of downtown.\n	Hot Cocoa Stations - Lee Real Estate Location\n	Scavenger Hunt will be from 3-4 with registration starting at 2:30 PM at the American Legion! Registration is free. The scavenger hunt has a Best Dressed Team Contest! Your team will take a photo at registration that will be uploaded to the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page. The team with the most amount of LIKES on the original Facebook Post will win bragging rights! \n	After the vendor show make sure to stop back at the Legion at 7PM to end your night with some Live Music performed by Cody Hullinger!\n\n\n\nIf there are any other Holiday Events happening December 7th in the Pierre/Fort Pierre Area\, please let us know so we can include you in our map!\n\nMAP LINK\n\n\n\n\n\nWe encourage businesses who are participating and have Holiday Decorated Storefronts to enter in Light Up Pierre 2024\, a Holiday display contest that is free to enter!
