DESCRIPTION:Dress up as your favorite super hero and join the fun! The first Oahe Days Kids Parade is a chance for the spotlight to shine on the 10 and under crowd. Jolly the Mystery Snowman and other beloved community mascots will lead the kids through a musical and fun "follow the leader" parade through the park.\n\n	  \n\n	\n\n	DO encourage children to show up in costume. Store bought is fine\, home-made even better! Just make sure they can see if they are wearing a mask and won't trip on any capes. \n\n	 \n\n	\n\n	DO allow them to bring a wagon to pull younger siblings or pets (on leashes). Make sure the child is old enough to handle that responsibility.  \n\n	 \n\n	\n\n	DO remind children they should "follow the leader" and stay with the group.\n\n	 \n\n	\n\n	DO NOT have children bring any candy or other items to throw.\n\n	 \n\n	\n\n	DO have someone at the end of the parade route promptly to pick up children. Parents are welcome to follow along right behind the parade\, but try not to be "part" of the parade.\n\n	 \n\n	There is no need to sign up in advance or cost to attend  just a willingness to be part of the fun. The parade will begin on time. All plans subject to change\, depending on the weather.\n\n	 \n\n	 \n\n	The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce is a proud sponsor of the Oahe Days Kids Parade.

LOCATION:PARADE ROUTE: We'll start the parade at Pierre's First School House across from the chamber\, cut across the park to the bike path and then continue on the bike path\, past the amphitheater and end at the beach next to the park. Tell your family and friends to line the "parade route" and cheer for your little wonder.
