DESCRIPTION:This is a fast\, essentially flat terrain course that is not especially tough or difficult\, but does have some tight technical turns\, sweet stretches\, and fun challenging spots. This will be a lap race. One lap = approx. 5.76 miles. The course is a combination of tree-lined\, narrow and twisting single-track\, and open\, wider double-track trail. The course is located on LaFramboise Island Nature Area\, at the end of a causeway separating the island from the City of Pierre.The island and its course are open year-round and require no park entrance license.\n\nClass:\n\nExpert Men & Women: 23 Miles/4 laps\n\nAdvanced Men & Women: 17.25 mi/3 laps\n\nRecreation/Sport Men & Women: 11.5 mi/2 laps\n\nBeginner Men & Women: 5.75 mi/1 lap\n\nYoungster Categories: 12 & under + 13-17. 1 lap.\n\n\n\nHELMETS ARE MANDATORY!\n\nWATCH THE WEATHER - in case of heavy rain the race will be cancelled.
