DESCRIPTION:Qualified Attendees Receive $100 Stipend Adults have an extraordinary opportunity to support young minds and prepare them for success. This virtual training opportunity provides in-home childcare providers strategies and resources to support valuable brain-building work with children from ages birth to five. This three-part\, live\, online training will be held Thursdays\, April 15\, 22\, 29\, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM MDT/7:00-9:00 PM CDT. In the "Strategies for Early Literacy Learning Workshop\," childcare providers will learn:   What is Early Literacy?   How to build a literacy rich environment to help children be prepared for literacy instruction   How to increase children's language and communication skills   How communication supports healthy social and emotional development   How to help families understand early literacy and support their children There is a $100 stipend for qualified in-home providers who participate in all three sessions (DSS registration/licensure is not required to receive the stipend). CEUs are also available.
