In an effort to standardize terminology among private and public sector entities\, it identifies commonalities between emergency management and business continuity planning (BCP). It outlines BCP within the framework of emergency management and the core capabilities of the National Preparedness Goal. Continuity is an important element of preparedness and an integral part of each core capability across the five mission areas of protection\, prevention\, mitigation\, response\, and recovery.\n\n\n\nAudience:  Retail\, Transportation and Logistics\, Communications\, Public Works\, Food Production\, First Response\, Volunteer Organizations\, Local Governments\n\n\n\n**You will need to provide a FEMA SID # to register. You can get a FEMA SID # at https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid**\n\n\n\nVenue Information: You will receive specific training location information via e-mail when you have been approved to attend this course by the administrator.
