SUMMARY:6th Annual South Dakota Cornhole State Championships
DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual South Dakota Cornhole State Championships will take place in Pierre\, SD during Oahe Days on Saturday\, June 20th and Sunday June 21st.\n\n\n\nRegistration table will open at 9:00AM and tournament will begin at 10:00AM.\n\n\n\nThis year\, the tournament will begin with "Round-Robin Pod" play at 10:00AM. Teams will be randomly placed into pods and will play each team in their pod at least 3 games. The top 2 teams from each pod will move onto the Championship Round to be held Sunday Morning.\n\n\n\nThe Championship Round for doubles will be a seeded double-elimination bracket with a best-of-3 series in the winner's bracket and Canadian Knockout in the consolation bracket.\n\n\n\nCash prizes awarded to top teams.\n\n\n\nRegistration is $50 per team of 2 if registered BEFORE June 18th. Registration is $60 per team of 2 if registered AFTER June 18th.\n\n\n\nSINGLES TOURNAMENT will begin approximatley 30 minutes after the conclusion of "PODS" for the double tournament. Approximate start time would be 1:00PM. This is your traditional double-elimination bracket tournament. Players will be randomly placed on bracket. Winner's bracket will be a best-of-3 series\, with consolation bracket being Canadian Knockout (1 game).\n\n\n\nRegistration cost for singles is $25 if pre-registered BEFORE June 18th and $30 if registered AFTER June 18th or the day of the event.\n\n\n\nCash prizes awarded to top players.\n\n\n\nTeams/Players are allowed to use their own bags\, they must be approved by tournament director prior to tournament and must be ACO certified.\n\n\n\nAny questions\, please call 605-224-7361.
