Chamber CEO Resigns

Greetings, all!

It's incredibly difficult to share the news with you that my tenure at the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce has come to an end. I have an opportunity with the South Dakota Retirement System's Supplemental Retirement Plan that is the perfect fit for my professional future. My last day will be February 26, 2021, and I will be involved during the transition to ensure there is minimal disruption. I am so grateful and fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience the behind-the-scenes of the Pierre Area Chamber. My career at the Chamber has given me so much joy, community pride and appreciation for local businesses. More than that, my gratitude extends to employees of the chamber and our board of directors who make a difference as they focus on the mission and strategic plan to progress the organization.

Thank you so much for three excellent years with this organization. I will never forget my time at the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce and the rewarding opportunity it has been to be involved at this capacity with the community I love so much.
