THE NATIONAL PASTIME IN SOUTH DAKOTA From early town teams to the present day Sioux Falls Canaries, South Dakota has enjoyed a rich baseball tradition of its own that will evoke vivid memories and inspire future big leaguers. Marilyn Kratz will give presentations at 11:00 AM & 2:00 PM about the remarkable South Dakotan Amanda Clement, one of first female umpires in the United States. Refreshments will be served, and there is no admission fee to attend the event.
