History and Heritage Book Club

Award-winning historian Paul Hedren of Omaha, Neb., will be the guest speaker at the History and Heritage Book Club to lead the discussion of "Ho! For the Black Hills." The book consists of articles that Captain Jack Crawford wrote for the Omaha Daily Bee about the Black Hills Gold Rush and Great Sioux War. The free meeting begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Cultural Heritage Center. Everyone is welcome to attend. The book is available at the Cultural Heritage Center.
